DESCRIPTION
Formatting such as letter spacing is lost when applying a colour to a single
letter within a text field. E.g. (
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open Krita, add a text box to the canvas and enter some text. Also, add some
letter spacing.
2. Highlight one of the letters within the text field and then select the
colour picker at the top of the screen.
3. Change the colour of the single highlighted character (in my case, I used
the colour sampler "pipette" tool .
OBSERVED RESULT
The letter spacing for the single character in the text no longer works and it
does not appear to be possible to re-apply the formatting without undoing the
colour change.
EXPECTED RESULT
The formatting should be unaffected by the colour change of one single letter.
SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Operating System (available in the Info Center app, or by running `kinfo` in a
terminal window):
KDE Plasma Version: 6.7.0
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.27.0
Qt Version: 6.11.1
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Workaround: Duplicate the text layer, then apply colour to entire duplicated
text and then use the eraser tool to erase un-needed text.
