I am experiencing the same second frozen cursor but, it appeared the first time after I updated my KUbuntu 25.10 to KUbuntu 26.04 using X11. On the same PC, in dual-boot, I don't experience this with CachyOS using Wayland. To make the cursor disappear, I have to go to a console ; by typing ALT-CTRL F3 for example ; then when I return to my X11 session with ALT-CTRL F2, the frozen cursor as disappeared.
