Hello.

I am experiencing the same second frozen cursor but, it appeared the first time
after I updated my KUbuntu 25.10 to KUbuntu 26.04 using X11.
On the same PC, in dual-boot, I don't experience this with CachyOS using
Wayland.

To make the cursor disappear, I have to go to a console ; by typing ALT-CTRL F3
for example ; then when I return to my X11 session with ALT-CTRL F2, the frozen
cursor as disappeared.

I have yet to understand what causes this cursor to appear. Killing all my
background programs didn't make i disappear.
