Corrupted screen output

DESCRIPTION
Under some circumstances (see below), the screen output of a vertical screen
can get corrupted, leading to fragmented windows and (in my case) screen
burn-in that lasted a few weeks.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Set up a vertical monitor next to a horizontal one
2. Close all windows, or have a window full-screen on the vertical monitor

OBSERVED RESULT
Screen output of the vertical screen gets corrupted (see attachment).

EXPECTED RESULT
Screen output is clear of artifacts.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Operating System: CachyOS Linux
KDE Plasma Version: 6.7.0
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.27.0
Qt Version: 6.11.1
Kernel Version: 7.0.12-1-cachyos (64-bit)
Graphics Platform: Wayland
Processors: 16 × AMD Ryzen 7 1700 Eight-Core Processor
Memory: 16 GiB of RAM (15.6 GiB usable)
Graphics Processor: AMD Radeon RX Vega

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
- The first time I noticed this was approx. 29th April 2026. Back then, I was
using KDE neon (now CachyOS, same problem) with up-to-date Plasma on Wayland.
- I do not think it is the graphics card's fault, as Windows does not have
issues. Also, it only happens when a window is either full-screen or there is
no window (i.e. on the desktop)
- When any of the following happens, it goes back to working *normally*, until
that condition goes away:
    - right-clicking to see a context menu
    - having more than one window visible or having a window and the desktop
visible => even an "always on top", 100*100px, 10%-opacity window in the corner
of the screen gets it back to a working state
    - using a task bar (when it auto-hides it breaks again)
    - even just the box-shadow of a window on a neighbouring monitor makes it
work again
    - basically, whenever the rendering pipeline has to do more than rendering
a single thing, it works fine, but when it is just passing a window through to
the display, it breaks.
- The mouse pointer renders well as long as it doesn't touch the black bar (see
attachment). When the arrow goes into the black bar, it is not rendered
- This problem cannot be captured on a screenshot. On a screenshot (spectacle)
it renders the way it is supposed to.
- None of the display settings seem to have an effect on this, the problem
occurs always
- Both screens are attached via DisplayPort, swapping DP cables doesn't change
anything.
- LG Ultragear 27GS85QX-B 1440p 180Hz (not overclocked to 200Hz)
