            Bug ID: 522286
Summary: KDE Linux sysupdate: Kernel panic in new images
                    (202606260254, 202606270310)
    Classification: I don't know
           Product: kde
      Version First unspecified
       Reported In:
          Platform: KDE Linux
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]
  Target Milestone: ---

Repeated kernel panics when booting new sysupdate images via systemd-sysupdate.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Check for system updates (sysupdate)
2. New image available and staged as pending
3. Reboot system
4. Kernel panic occurs during boot of new image

Expected: System boots successfully into new image
Actual: Kernel panic during boot, automatic fallback to previous stable image
(202606240257)

Affected versions:
- 202606260254 (kernel panic)
- 202606270310 (kernel panic)
- 202606240257 (stable - current workaround via pinning)

Kernel panic backtrace shows:
- plymouth(main+0x1694)
- libc.so.6(__libc_start_main+0x89)
- plymouthd(_start+0x25) [0x55e2ae5c779d5]

Workaround: Pin system to 202606240257 via
/etc/systemd/sysupdate.d/kde-linux.conf with MinVersion constraint

Environment: QEMU/KVM VM, systemd-sysupdate
