--- Comment #16 from Daktyl <[email protected]> --- Created attachment 193788 --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=193788&action=edit screenshot of notifications during screen freeze > Can you ssh into the system and get a backtrace of when it hangs? You can > attach to KWin with When I attach to kwin with gdb, kwin freezes execution or something. The screen completely freezes and so I'm not sure when/if I'm triggering the bug. The screens don't even turn on if I attach before waking. I'm not familiar with gdb so I don't know how to prevent this. > Also, "until Kwin figures itself out", does that mean it did then turn on the > displays after all? Or did you maybe have to move the mouse or press buttons > on the keyboard to trigger that? The displays turn on just fine for the lock screen. When I enter my password and unlock the session, plasma appears and then the screen immediately freezes for a while. A minute might be an exaggeration but it's definitely a good amount of time. I'll timer it next time. While it's frozen, I can see the attached notifications. They go away as soon as the screen unfreezes. It's hard to test things with the bug since it requires the screen to be off for such a long amount of time. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
