Bug ID: 522319
Summary: Add Option to Permanently Ignore Image Similarity
Groups

Severity: normal
Priority: NOR
Component: Searches-Similarity

Target Milestone: ---
When photographing people or groups, I often taken more than one shot and
select the best image afterwards. The image similarity search helps for this
enormously because I can use as a global ToDo search instead of needing to go
through each album.
However, sometimes I would like to keep two similar images because pose or
facial expression of both are nice to look at. Yet, because they are similar,
these images will keep being displayed in the similarity search.
For this reason, I would like to have a feature where I can mark a given
similarity group to be ignored for future searches. I imagine the following to
be implemented:
1. New database table which tracks similarity groups as to be ignored.
2. A toggle switch in the similarity search to either show or hide previously
marked groups.
3. A button to delete ALL marked groups. (Like the one to delete ALL
fingerprints.)
4. A marking that shows if a given similarity group is marked as to be ignored.
(Only shown if marked groups are not hidden.)
5. A right-click option that allows a similarity group to be added/removed from
the ignore list.
