If you're requesting that KDE work around the issue in every place we have tooltips, that's an infeasible amount of work for an issue that's minor at best. It's also unclear that we'd want to; as requested, we'd basically be removing the fade-out animation. But it looks nice; we might get complaints about it. If you're requesting that KDE work around the issue in the above manner for just Folder View, that would introduce inconsistency. I think we need to wait for Qt, or fix it ourselves. You seem to be passionate about this issue; are you interested in fixing it?
