Just confirming that I experienced this issue today with Plasma 6.7.1 - both
the apparent selection highlighted in System Settings, and the actual status
revert after reboots. This is verified by triggering the
hold-for-alternative-characters popup to appear. I had also experienced it on
Plasma 6.7 on another device.
