Bug ID: 522407
Summary: Zombie process + memory leak when toggling Mobile mode
on desktop and closing
Classification: Applications
Product: angelfish
Version First unspecified
Reported In:
Platform: Other
OS: Linux
Status: REPORTED
Severity: normal
Priority: NOR
Component: general
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
Target Milestone: ---
I managed to reproduce this on both Fedora 44's package and master build from
kde-builder:
* Run Angelfish
* Open website
* Toggle Mobile Mode
* Notice that current page doesn't load
* Notice that its memory usage keeps increasing continuously indefinitely and
GBs piling up fast
* Close Angelfish
* Notice that there's a zombie process
* Run Angelfish
* Result: hangs for a while then outputs "kf.dbusaddons: Failed to register
name 'org.kde.angelfish' with DBUS - does this process have permission to use
the name, and do no other processes own it already?" in stdout
