            Bug ID: 522410
Summary: Cursor disappears after triggering Overview while
                    Shake Cursor effect is active
    Classification: Plasma
           Product: kwin
      Version First 6.7.1
       Reported In:
          Platform: Fedora RPMs
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: effects-various
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]
  Target Milestone: ---

DESCRIPTION
When the "Shake Cursor" effect is active (pointer enlarged) and the user
triggers the "Desktop Overview" effect by moving the pointer to the top-left
corner, the pointer becomes invisible. It only reappears after the Shake Cursor
effect times out and the shrink animation plays.

This appears to be a regression or a different issue from Bug 489241 (fixed in
KWin 6.1.1.1), which caused the cursor to disappear immediately upon shaking.
Here, the disappearance occurs specifically when Overview is triggered while
the cursor is already enlarged.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Enable "Shake Cursor" feature (default: System Settings > Accessibility >
Shake Cursor).
2. Shake the mouse to trigger the effect — the pointer enlarges.
3. While the pointer is still enlarged, move it to the top-left screen corner
to trigger the "Desktop Overview" effect.
4. Observe: the pointer disappears and is not visible within Overview.
5. Stop shaking and wait for the Shake Cursor effect to time out (~2 seconds) —
the pointer plays a shrink animation.
6. Observe: the pointer reappears during the shrink animation.

OBSERVED RESULT
The pointer becomes invisible while Overview is active. It only reappears after
the Shake Cursor effect times out and the shrink animation completes.

EXPECTED RESULT
The pointer should remain visible throughout, or at least reappear immediately
when Overview is triggered, without needing to wait for the Shake Cursor effect
to time out.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
- This bug is 100% reproducible on the above system.
- Bug 489241 (https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=489241) fixed a similar
cursor disappearance issue in KWin 6.1.1.1, but that occurred immediately upon
shaking, not specifically when Overview is triggered after enlargement.
- The bug does NOT occur if Overview is triggered without first
shaking/enlarging the cursor.
- The bug does NOT occur if the cursor is enlarged but Overview is not
triggered.
