I'm on 6.18.37-1-cachyos-lts now, but I tried downgrading to older lts versions I had in pacman's cache (and which were working before) down to cachyos-lts-6.18.26-1, but I still ran into the same issue. What did work was downgrading to the lowest version I could find in my distribution repositories, linux-cachyos-lts-lto-6.12.69-2. Downgrading to kwin-6.6.5 fixes the issue, even with 6.18.37-1-cachyos-lts. Switching the resolution to something else and back (with HDR enabled, no reboot) works fine. What did also worked (even after rebooting) was changing to a lower resolution, but not the immediate next one. So my panel's native resolution is 2880x1620, switching to 2560x1600 didn't worked, but switching to 2560x1440 did.
