video showing the interaction with crop tool on a touchscreen
DESCRIPTION
When selecting the crop tool inside the image editor, an overlay message is
shown about selecting area and double-clicking for cropping, or right-clicking
for canceling the selection [1].
As I've tried to show in the video, I was not able to find a way to use such
tool with a touchscreen.
The selection works, the rectangle is shown, but crop isn't done.
In order to make this tool mobile-friendly, I'd think about something like,
when the selection rectangle is shown, tap inside the rectangle to crop and
outside the rectangle to cancel the selection. IIRC, Gimp features a similar
mouse-only gesture for cropping.
