Bugged animation

DESCRIPTION
The animation when placing the cursor over ( ) characters is incomplete and
bugged. Which leads to productivity issues as one stares at the missing pixels
in the animation.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Write in the editor: H(84)
2. Move the cursor to '(' which highlights ')' with an enlargement animation.

OBSERVED RESULT
There's a 1px line to the right of ')' that doesn't get zoomed in.
If you move to ')', the '(' character does get fully zoomed in with the
animation.

EXPECTED RESULT
The whole character should pop larger and then shrink back, without leaving an
unzoomed line behind.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Operating System (available in the Info Center app, or by running `kinfo` in a
terminal window):
KDE Plasma Version: 6.7.1
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.27.0
Qt Version: 6.11.1

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
It's a critical issue that can lead to chronic insomnia.
