Demo of the issue
DESCRIPTION4
In KMyMoney 5.2.2 built against Qt6/KF6, the Categories view can start with
categories missing from the account/category tree. The categories are not
deleted and are still available elsewhere, for example when
entering/importing a transaction.
Changing the status filter in the Categories view forces the view to refresh
and the categories appear again. This suggests that the proxy model/filter is
not being invalidated when account balance/value data
changes during file loading.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Start KMyMoney 5.2.2 with an existing file that contains income/expense
categories.
2. Open the Categories view.
3. If categories are missing, change the status filter from "Any status" to
another value such as "Closed", "Used" or "Unused", then change it back to
"Any status".
OBSERVED RESULT
The Categories view initially does not show the categories. After changing the
status filter and changing it back, the categories immediately appear.
EXPECTED RESULT
The Categories view should show the categories correctly immediately after
opening the file/application, without requiring the status filter to be changed
manually.
