Aaron Rainbolt <[email protected]> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Status|NEEDSINFO |REPORTED Resolution|WAITINGFORINFO |--- --- Comment #3 from Aaron Rainbolt <[email protected]> --- I think I figured out how to reproduce the bug reliably. 1. Create a media frame widget. 2. Add some images to it (I downloaded three images off Pixabay for the purpose). 3. Disable the "Randomize order" checkbox. 4. Set the image cycle time to something larger than the default (you don't have to do this, but it should make reproducing the issue easier). 5. In the folder containing your set of images, use Dolphin to make a copy of whatever image the media frame is actively displaying. Make the name of the copy only one letter different than the original. 6. While the media frame is still actively displaying the image, rename the copy to the name of the original image, and confirm that you want to overwrite the original when prompted. In Plasma 5.27, this resulted in the displayed image flashing a bit, other than that it remained displayed. In Plasma 6.6, the image vanishes from that position in the widget as described in the original report. This is a bit of a problem for software that dynamically modifies the images displayed by the media frame widget (like some of Kubuntu Focus's package setup scripts do), since it means an attempt to change the images the user sees results in images disappearing. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
