            Bug ID: 522761
Summary: Be able to make a window rule excluding ONLY select
global key shortcuts from being ignored?
    Classification: Plasma
           Product: kwin
      Version First unspecified
       Reported In:
          Platform: unspecified
                OS: Unspecified
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: input
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]
                CC: [email protected]
  Target Milestone: ---

I use this music software called Fasttracker II clone, which is a modern port
of the original Fasttracker II for DOS machines. As a result, the key shortcuts
it uses clash a lot with Plasma's global ones (too much use of the F# keys,
can't override any), and so I had to make a dedicated window rule for it, so
that trying to do one thing doesn't interfere with the app window.

However, the rule I added was to ignore global keyboard shortcuts. It does
work, but I'm so used to using Alt+Tab, Meta, among other shortcuts that don't
clash with the program's, that it feels annoying at times. So, I would like to
have a feature where you can add a window rule that excludes certain shortcuts
from being ignored by the window manager, while keeping the rest ignored so
that the program can process them. Because having to reassign global shortcuts
I'm already used to just because of a single program is quite annoying as well
:)
