            Bug ID: 522804
Summary: Brush mode selection of Lightness/Gradient affects
Alpha Mask when brush tip is an Image
    Classification: Applications
           Product: krita
Version First nightly build (please specify the git hash!)
       Reported In:
          Platform: Other
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: Brush engines
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]
  Target Milestone: ---

DESCRIPTION
Brush mode editor on brush tips, when Lightness/Gradient is selected, changes
and affects the Alpha Mask brush mode. This occurs only on Image type tip,
including Gimp Image Hose etc.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
   1. Open brush editor
   2. Select a grayscale on alpha (transparent) brush tip.
   3. Now, change brush mask mode from Alpha Mask → Lightness or Gradient map
   4. Uncheck “auto”, set neutral point to minimum
   5. Return to Alpha Mask, draw a stroke
   6. Go back to Lightness/Gradient
   7. set neutral point to max
   8. Return to Alpha Mask, draw a stroke

OBSERVED RESULT
Brush mode editor changes behavior of alpha mask, despite being disabled when
alpha mask is selected.

EXPECTED RESULT
Either alpha mask mode has the option enabled, or the changed options do not
affect the brush.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
This could be actually a pretty neat option to control/edit the brushtip after
creating in, but it'd have to get enabled for that mode. Otherwise, this is
just unintentional error that does break things a little bit.
