            Bug ID: 522889
Summary: Pick Label "None" filter and Advanced Search return
drastically different counts for the same criterion
    Classification: Applications
           Product: digikam
      Version First 9.1.0
       Reported In:
          Platform: Mint (Ubuntu based)
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: Searches-Advanced
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]
  Target Milestone: ---

Steps to Reproduce:
Open digiKam with a large collection (in my case ~56,000 images)
Clear all filters, perform an empty search so that all images are shown
In the Filters sidebar (right panel), apply the Pick Label filter set to "None"
(black flag) → note the resulting count (in my case: 53,840 items)
Now open the Advanced Search tool (left sidebar → Search)
Create a search with a single condition: Pick Label = None
Run/Test the search → note the resulting count (in my case: 12,834 items)

Expected behavior:
Both methods use the same logical criterion ("Pick Label: None") and should
return the same set of images.
Actual behavior:
The Advanced Search returns far fewer results (12,834) than the quick Filter
bar (53,840), missing tens of thousands of images that visually show the
black/None flag in the thumbnail view.
