            Bug ID: 522932
Summary: kde connect remote input keyboard not display capital
                    letters as expected
    Classification: Applications
           Product: kdeconnect
      Version First unspecified
       Reported In:
          Platform: Android
                OS: Android 16.x
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: minor
          Priority: NOR
         Component: android-application

  Target Milestone: ---

DESCRIPTION
When I use KDE connect remote keyboard input on my android device and type on
it in caps lock the input i get on my linux desktop is not capitalised. The
input I get depends on whether I have caps lock enabled on my keyboard. For
example when i type in the android app in caps lock and my PC keyboard doesnt
have caps lock enabled the letters will not be in capitalised letters and vice
versa(if i type on android without caps lock enabled but it is enabled on my PC
keyboard then it will come in capital letters). This makes it so that whenever
i want to write on my android keyboard with a mix of capitalised letters and
not capitalised i am unable to do so. This is a minor issue and the only reason
this somewhat affected me is because sometimes I want to unlock my pc remotely
with my phone but i am unable to do that as it has a mix of capital letters and
non capital letters

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open keyboard in kde connect
2. type in message with a mixed of capital and non cap letters e.g "Hello"
3. look at output

OBSERVED RESULT
(assuming my pc keyboard has caps lock off and I type "Hello" in android kde
connect app)
"hello!"

EXPECTED RESULT
"Hello!"

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Android 16
Lineage OS
Pixel 9a

Thanks you
