Login Screen Settings
DESCRIPTION
When I installed KDE Neon, I selected to auto-login the Desktop with an
assigned user
However, it's asking me for a username and password after the 6.7.2 update
I have changed the Auto-login settings with a user and a session (see
attachment file Screenshot_20260711_150034.png)
However, whenever I reboot or do a shutdown/startup, it's still asking for a
username and password
***Note: I understand this is an unsafe practice for any computer to bypass the
login credentials. However, I need to have this auto-login feature for my young
son that needs to access the computer for quick things. And yes, I'm too lazy
to create another account for my son
This ticket is actually related to the ticket below where at boot up, it will
go into Console Mode after doing the 6.7.0 update. However, the 6.7.2 fixed
that issue

I know that the auto-login feature is related to the 6.7.0 update. The reason
is that I have another computer where I didn't do the 6.7.0 update and it also
has the auto-login activated with an assigned user. I then updated the
computer with the 6.7.2 update and auto login is still working (has not
presented me with a username and password screen)
STEPS TO REPRODUCE

EXPECTED RESULT
Should automatically go into the Desktop with the assigned uesr
