            Bug ID: 522978
Summary: Allow ordering/sorting windows by Virtual Desktop or
Screen in Alt+Tab instead of filtering
    Classification: Plasma
           Product: kwin
      Version First unspecified
       Reported In:
          Platform: unspecified
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: tabbox
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]
  Target Milestone: ---

Currently, under System Settings -> Window Management -> Task Switcher ->
Filter windows by:
Checking "Virtual desktops" or "Screens" strictly filters out (hides) windows
that are not on the current desktop/screen. If unchecked, all windows are shown
in a single flat list ordered only by "Recently used" or "Stacking order".

I would like to request a feature to group/sort by Virtual Desktop or Screen
instead of filtering them out completely.

For example:
1. Show windows from the current virtual desktop/screen first in the Alt+Tab
list.
2. Order windows from other desktops/screens after the current ones, or group
them visually (e.g. grouped by desktop).

This would allow users to navigate all open windows using Alt+Tab without
losing the spatial context of which workspace/monitor they belong to, while
still prioritizing the active workspace's windows.
