Open Configure Gwenview
Go to image-view, Animations
Select OpenGL
Open and play an MP4 video
Result: The video timeline advances and decoding appears active, but the video
area remains blank and flickers black or with the background color.
Changing the same setting to:
Animations → Software
immediately restores normal video playback.
