I'm not able to reproduce this on Plasma built from git-master and an HP MFP M479fdn, also using driverless, 2.1.1 Can you send a screenshot of the mouse hovering over the icon? Also, can you send a screenshot of the print queue, when there's nothing printing, from System Settings - Printers - click the Open Print Queue next to the printer I'd like to try to narrow down where the job is being shown and where it isn't other than CUPS.
