DESCRIPTION
The user needs to add a 'user' to an existing 'group'.
The user is not an IT specialist, and requires a GUI.
The CLI equivalent is likely to be: "sodo usermod -a -G mygroup myuser"
Technical Suggestion:
This command fits logically under "System Setting - Users"
A new section could be accessed with a new "Advanced" button for each user.
Optimal UX would have a Groups subsection
Groups would immediately list all groups the user is already in.
An Edit or Add command would let the user select an existing group
Logically "Create new Group", and "Remove Group" commands would be beneficial.
Example.
Laser Engraver hardware is now cheap and popular among non IT users.
Rayforge.org software makes setting up and engraving in Linux easy. I.e. No
CLI.
It advises users to add their user to group 'dialout' if the hardware does not
connect.
This is a showstopper for many users.
