--- Comment #8 from Roland <[email protected]> --- Im running 9.2.0. Issue remains. It seems tied to some basic sequence. I dont have a lot of time to debug it right now. But in concept, it can work if you simply open Digikam and access a file or folder, but if you so something like a file drag/add as a Move from the desktop, or perhaps a buk rename or tag add, then running it crashes. But a restart then behaves correctly and doesnt seem to crash regardless of process. I dont know if some process is left open on the crash, or if there is some mode persistence in the database or config file etc, a lock file etc that doesnt get altered with a restart of the app, but does get cleared with a restart of the OS. This isnt some bizarre combo of things- eight-click UU and a horizontal flip transform. This is a basic core usage process- file adds or deletes, or tag adds or changes, or folder renames. I would have thought this repeatable, since it would seem to me if this were a function of my PC/OS variant, its hard to see why a crash would change something such that it behaves correctly for the duration of the OS session.
