Thanks for the suggestion. The maintainers will need to weigh in on this.

If this is implemented, it shouldn't just be for flatpaks. Different back ends
have different ways of noting that a system restart is necessary after updates.
That should be consulted in the case there are, for example, only rpm / apt /
eopkg software updates that don't make a restart necessary.

This also makes the UI somewhat responsible for notifying the user that updates
are necessary, rather than having it always be an option. Users will come to
rely on seeing the restart option to know if they need to restart, if this is
done.

Changing this to wishlist, since it's a feature request rather than a bug.
