Bug ID: 523446
Summary: Dates lost
Classification: Applications
Product: digikam
Version First 9.1.0
Reported In:
Platform: openSUSE
OS: Linux
Status: REPORTED
Severity: normal
Priority: NOR
Component: Metadata-Date
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
Target Milestone: ---
DESCRIPTION
No date for photos. Old photos lost the date information, the newly imported
ones also doesn't show a date (photo taken).
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
Most probably it was the update to 9.1.0 when this problem appeared.
OBSERVED RESULT
All the photos (~57000) have lost their date data. The side panel "Properties"
displays "unavailable" in the "digikam properties" group, and even the "File
properties" group displays nothing in the "Date" field.
The Timeline and Dates panels doesn't show any photos.
The "Metadata" side panel EXIF tab shows the correct timestamp in the "Date and
Time (original)" field. Also the Exiftool tab shows the correct data.
The "Reread Metadata from File" doesn't help either.
EXPECTED RESULT
Should be working as it was before.
