Bug ID: 523505
Summary: Printer icon restores wrong counter number when
disconnected from network
Classification: Plasma
Product: plasmashell
Version First 6.7.3
Reported In:
Platform: Other
OS: Linux
Status: REPORTED
Severity: normal
Priority: NOR
Component: Printers widget
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
CC: [email protected]
Target Milestone: 1.0
DESCRIPTION
I think this is another edge case not covered by the solution that fixed Bug
512442.
The widget correctly removes the counter and it hides after printing. However,
when disconnecting from the network where the printer is reachable, the counter
is back and the icon shows up once again in the tray.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Connect to network with printer
2. Send job to printer
3. Disconnect from the network
OBSERVED RESULT
Counter goes up to 1 for a bit, then goes back to 0. After disconnecting from
the network, the counter goes back to 1.
EXPECTED RESULT
The widget shows the correct number of jobs, as in the printer queue.
