Hello, I went on to replace gitk in my workflow, which does not work under
wayland.
kommit would seem to be good replacement, but it cannot show the commit diff in
the main window nor is there a option to enable such. "Diff with working dir"
is not particularly useful. gitg has a much nicer way to show commits overall,
but again I cannot use it because the program freezes due to missing X11
display.
Feature request 1: view the commit as "a patch" in a textual view, like gitg.
When enabled the selected commit's details could be shown right/left of the
diff view.
Feature request 2: Option to show commit hashes, author and date in the
overview view listing of commits. (new columns)
Bug: the commit message body is mangled, and is not shown correctly. Line
endings are stripped off and the message body is shown as one big clump,
leading to text like "bedone.Get" e.g.
