--- Comment #4 from Tonny <[email protected]> ---
Thanks for looking into this so fast.
This happened when I bought the keyboard, plugged it in - it worked, then
restarted the machine and it stopped working, I didn't change any settings or
anything.
After it stopped working, I tried various things to get it working again, from
solaar to all kind of setting changes, but couldn't figure it out for months.

I've searched online and it seems to be a common occurrence, as other users
reported a very similar pattern:
https://forum.manjaro.org/t/keyboard-not-working-anymore-after-login-screen/187863
https://discuss.kde.org/t/keyboard-input-not-detected-only-after-logging-in/13590
https://www.reddit.com/r/Gentoo/comments/1e02myj/

I'm don't fully understand the underlying process sorry. I was just finally
able to solve it by removing the kcminputrc altogether, though have little to
grab on, and the solution I proposed is probably not the right course of
action, but found it interesting that things got to be working again after
removing the file, which I assume was created by the system itself?

I also wonder if this maybe got solved already, as this originally happened
months ago, but I'll try continue using the keyboard as normal for now. Will
report back if it happens again.
