I'm not able to reproduce this in Plasma built from git-master or Plasma 6.7.3
on Solus. After following the steps to reproduce, the search field is cleared
and all clipboard contents are shown.

There was a lot of work put into improving the clipboard in 6.7. Are you able
to reproduce this bug with Plasma 6.7.3 or later?
