I'm not able to reproduce this with Plasma built from git-master. Using Bing, the preview displayed in about 10 seconds. The preview for Flickr loaded in about 2 seconds. We'll need more details in order to investigate. Can you launch System Settings from command line like this: kcmshell6 kcm_wallpaper Then, reproduce the bug, and paste the terminal output into this report.
