Steps taken: 1. Set the notification timeout in System Settings to 10 seconds. 2. Run date; notify-send Title Body; sleep 10; date 3. After 10 seconds the notification clears. The reporter claims that the issue most reliably happens with ZapZap, however any application can set the duration of their notifications to any value they want (eg: notify-send -t 4000 timeout in 4 seconds). To me this sounds like an application specific problem, not a plasmashell problem.
