DESCRIPTION
When trying to use partition manager, I noticed the text on the partition
visualiser was hard to read because it was (for an ntfs drive) white text on
light yellow background. Went to the settings to customise the colours, and
noticed that changing the NTFS colour option (which defaults to pink) did
nothing. Which makes sense as the partition was yellow, but it -is- an NTFS
partition.
Went through all the options, and found that the NTFS partition colours, are
controlled by the ReiserFS colour option.
I went through some of the others and found the following:
fat32 is controlled by ntfs colour.
ntfs is controlled by reiserfs colour.
btrfs is controlled by HPFS colour.
I can't test any others as I don't have those file systems. I mean... nobody
uses most of these lol but still. All the most common ones seem to be broken.
Secondary issue - I tried changing the system to light-mode (breeze) to see if
that was causing the issue. It made no difference, other than the text now
being black on light-colour so it's now readable. But changing the text colour
for dark mode, and not changing the background colour is kind of pointless, and
I assume a bug of it's own.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. See above. Just be on kde plasma, and try changing the colours of the
partitions.
OBSERVED RESULT
Incorrect colours.
EXPECTED RESULT
Correct colours.
