No, not yet. Work is ongoing but nothing (that I have observed - I may miss some things though) has been committed to the main code repository yet. I share your eagerness but it looks like we are still some distance from there being code actually released, even in the pre-beta state, that is complete enough to try out. I trust that when that changes, it will be well publicised - hopefully here, and by other channels (I would consider that milestone significant enough for a blog post but it's not my decision obviously).
