The problem is that they do not appear as separate entries in the Application Launcher (when pressing the Windows key). I just tested with Kate and the problem is present. Actually it seems to be worse than I thought, and even the env variables are not taken into account. I thought it would work since it ends in the Exec= part of the desktop file, but this is not the case.
