Holding off on system updates temporarily for the sake of gathering more info for debugging this as well! Once again to clarify, these are two separate crashes as you noted. The one this bug report should be focused on now is just the powerdevil crash when the tablet display is connected, not necessarily when its disconnected (though seems to also be the case? Will do more testing tailing the journal.) The crash that occurs after a disconnect when the system is idle, the pageflip timeout, is the somewhat more major problem, but as noted already I'll gather info more pertaining to that and submit a bug report to AMD instead. Thanks for confirming! If that all holds true, I'll update the title of this report to denote it is on tablet display connection, not disconnection. If it happens on both though then I'll also write as such here, but so far that hasn't seemed to be the case (at least not from the KDE toasty notifications that show up.) As an additional note, disconnecting the tablet and then manually enabling the lock screen with Meta + L shortcut did NOT cause any crash at all, neither in powerdevil or on the gpu/system level.
