I suspect the problem may be that a duplicate GPU device and a duplicate CPU
device are somehow showing up in `inxi` and `vulkaninfo`. If this is where
the problem lies, how do I remove the duplicate devices?

Here is an excerpt from `inxi -G -a`:

  API: Vulkan v: 1.4.341 layers: 6 device: 0 type: discrete-gpu name: NVIDIA
GeForce GTX 1050 Ti (NVK GP107) driver: mesa nvk v: 26.1.5
    device-ID: 10de:1c82 surfaces: N/A device: 1 type: discrete-gpu
name: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti (NVK GP107) driver: mesa nvk
    v: 25.2.0-devel (git-6b265d9d7d) device-ID: 10de:1c82 surfaces: N/A
device: 2 type: cpu name: llvmpipe (LLVM 22.1.8 256 bits)
    driver: mesa llvmpipe v: 26.1.5 (LLVM 22.1.8) device-ID: 10005:0000
