DESCRIPTION
Mouse movement is choppy and stuttery since KDE6 with NVIDIA drivers plus
moving the cursor can also make 30fps(and not 60fps!!!) youtube videos choppy
as well!
Adding KWIN_FORCE_SW_CURSOR=1 to /etc/environment fixes both of the issues
(PLEASE DO NOT REMOVE THIS OPTION).
I tested this on nvidia 550 (Devuan) and 580 (Ubuntu). Both have the same
issue.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. move your cursor with NVIDIA hardware installed.
OBSERVED RESULT
Choppy mouse cursor and video playback while moving the cursor on NVIDIA since
KDE 6.
EXPECTED RESULT
Smooth mouse cursor.
