DESCRIPTION
I have KVM switch CM692 from ugreen. HDMI input from the switch connected to
GP1 (see below).
It doesn't have EDID emultation (which isn't needed anyway as it adds some
layers of indirection and hurts latency).
During operation, if you switch away from the desktop in question, monitor
won't turn on if you switch back.
It doesn't happen always. I believe it happens after screen "turns off" while
input goes through other PC.
For screen to work again you need to unplug the cable from PC, then switch back
and forth between inputs. That kinda defeats the purpose of the KVM switch.
Only thing it's needed for is to not unplug cables.
>From journalctl logs I only see errors from powerdevil which is my suspect.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Connect monitor to KVM switch
2. Switch away
3. Live your best life for around 16 minutes or whatever your timeout is
4. Switch back
OBSERVED RESULT
Nothing happens really.
EXPECTED RESULT
Display turns on. Everything is working.
