            Bug ID: 524008
Summary: Odd crash on Krita 5.3.3 - Android | Crashes if I
don't open a file fast enough when app is initially
                    opened.
    Classification: Applications
           Product: krita
      Version First 5.3.3
       Reported In:
          Platform: Android
                OS: Android 15.x
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: crash
          Priority: NOR
         Component: Usability
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]
  Target Milestone: ---

DESCRIPTION
I hope that this is the right place to report this since I just updated the app
from 5.3.2.1 to 5.3.3. All things considered it seems like a minor bug or an
oversight of some kind, but if I hold off from opening any files or creating a
new file when the app is opened: the app will crash immediately.

I already recorded a video showcasing what I mean (uploaded to my Google Drive
here:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1KbCDxxVAS0-sq8L6cwcHJlFJNkD_XNnl/view?usp=sharing),
is anybody else having a similar issue?

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open app.
2. Let app hang open for 5-10 seconds without opening any files.

OBSERVED RESULT
The app will crash if a project or file isn't opened within 5-10 seconds of the
app loading. If a file is loaded in that timeframe and you close out of the
file, you can navigate freely without issue.

EXPECTED RESULT
... I guess I'm just expecting the app to not crash if I take longer than 10
seconds to poke through my projects? Not exactly sure what to put here.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Operating System: Android 15, update version 17.0.352.
Hardware: Lenovo Tab P12, 8 GB RAM, 256 GB internal storage

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
For some reason I can't pull the file that would be recording the crash log
from my tablet to put in here. Or view it for that matter, the only thing I can
look at is the 'krita.log' file which doesn't show anything valuable. I can
still attach it if need be, but attaching the actual crash log seems like it
will be a pain in the arse.
