--- Comment #9 from Robert <[email protected]> ---
I noticed this happening for a few weeks now as well ... For me it seems like
it might be related to "reconfiguration events" for audio devices.

I do not have Apple devices at home, but I noticed that when I am in a network
which has devices which are compatible with AirPlay the unmuting seems to
happen quite often. I can not see this happening so often when I am in my home
network.

It seems to be reproducible with other audio devices as well though, for
example connecting/disconnecting bluetooth headphones or
connecting/disconnecting a docking station. It does not seem to happen every
time a device connects/disconnects though.

My logs from `journalctl --user-unit plasma-plasmashell.service --follow` only
contain these log messages when unplugging / disconnecting an audio device
(slightly modified):

---
Aug 09 14:34:55 hostname plasmashell[3433]: No object for name
"bluez_output.80_C3_BA_xx_xx_xx.1"
Aug 09 14:41:23 hostname plasmashell[3433]: No object for name
"alsa_output.usb-Logitech_Logitech_G430_Gaming_Headset-00.analog-stereo"
Aug 09 14:42:35 hostname plasmashell[3433]: No object for name
"bluez_output.80_C3_BA_xx_xx_xx.1"
---

On the first disconnect of the bluetooth device I noticed the laptop speakers
being unmuted while on disconnecting the wired headset or disconnecting the
bluetooth headset the second time the laptop speakers stayed muted.

Are there any other places with more detailed logs I should be looking at?
