DESCRIPTION
After deleting a text message or entire conversation in Google Messages on my
phone, the same conversation continues to appear in kdeconnect-sms on my
desktop. It never gets removed, even after significant time has passed and
multiple sync attempts.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Pair an Android phone (Android 16, Google Messages as default SMS app) with
a Linux desktop via KDE Connect 26.04.3, with the SMS plugin enabled on both
ends.
2. Send/receive SMS messages normally; confirm they sync correctly to
kdeconnect-sms on desktop.
3. Delete a conversation (or individual messages) from Google Messages on the
phone.
4. Observe kdeconnect-sms on the desktop.

OBSERVED RESULT
The deleted conversation/messages remain visible in kdeconnect-sms
indefinitely.

EXPECTED RESULT
The deleted conversation/messages no longer appear in kdeconnect-sms.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Operating System (available in the Info Center app, or by running `kinfo` in a
terminal window):
KDE Plasma Version: 6.7.3
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.28.0
Qt Version: 6.11.1

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Setup: kdeconnect 26.04.3-1 (Arch Linux), paired with an Android 16 phone using
Google Messages as the default SMS app.

Already tried, none of which fixed it:

Updating the KDE Connect Android app to the latest version
Clearing the KDE Connect Android app's cache (Settings → Apps → KDE Connect →
Storage → Clear Cache)
Toggling the SMS plugin off and back on for this device pairing
Restarting kdeconnect-sms on the desktop

This looks like the same issue reported here, also unresolved:
https://discuss.kde.org/t/deleted-sms-messages-showing-in-windows-app/48478

Possibly related:
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=401677

My guess (unconfirmed) is that deleting a message in Google Messages only
removes it from that app's own view, without clearing it from the underlying
SMS database that KDE Connect's Android app reads from — so KDE Connect never
gets a signal that anything was deleted.
