It's possible that indexing requests are queued for the extractor but when that are taken off the queue, "enable content indexing" has been cleared. This will affect people who are indexing/reindexing their content, find that it too much of a load on the system and switch to just basic indexing. This does not work as Baloo remembers the files flagged for indexing and carries on handling the backlog.
