Screenshot showing the frozen Title Clip editor after adding a small
image/icon. The hidden “Save Title” dialog was active at the same time.

Kdenlive 26.04.3, Flatpak version, running on Ubuntu Linux.

This issue has happened several times while using the Title Clip editor. In
every occurrence, the problem happened while working with a small image/icon
(pictogram) in a title.

The freeze can happen either when adding the image to the title, or later when
trying to save the title/template containing that image.

The images involved are very small: typically less than 50 KB, with dimensions
not exceeding 512 × 512 pixels. So this does not seem to be related to large or
high-resolution image files.

The issue is not systematic, so I cannot reproduce it every time, but when it
occurs the Title Clip editor becomes completely unresponsive.

On the latest occurrence, a dialog named:

Enregistrer le titre — Kdenlive

had actually been created, but was not visible on screen.

While Kdenlive was frozen, xwininfo showed this dialog with an abnormal size of
only 100x30 pixels.

xprop confirmed:

WM_NAME = "Enregistrer le titre"
_NET_WM_WINDOW_TYPE = _NET_WM_WINDOW_TYPE_DIALOG
WM_NORMAL_HINTS: user specified size: 100 by 30

Because this dialog was modal, the Title Clip editor could no longer be used.

A GDB backtrace taken while Kdenlive was frozen also showed the main thread
waiting inside QDialog::exec().

After manually closing the invisible "Save Title" dialog, it was possible to
close the Title Clip editor normally.

Steps to reproduce:

1 - Open the Title Clip editor.
2 - Create or edit a title.
3 - Add a small image/icon (pictogram) to the title.
4 - The freeze may occur while adding the image, or when trying to save the
title/template after the image has been added.
5 - When the issue occurs, the Title Clip editor becomes completely
unresponsive.

The issue is intermittent, but it has happened several times, always while
working with small images/icons in the Title Clip editor.
