Rob <[email protected]> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Ever confirmed|1 |0 Resolution|WORKSFORME |--- Status|RESOLVED |REPORTED CC| |[email protected] --- Comment #12 from Rob <[email protected]> --- Environment: Debian 13 (trixie), Plasma 6.3.6, krdp 6.3.5 (Debian package), Wayland session on Raspberry Pi 5 (aarch64), SDDM autologin, KRdp credentials via KWallet. Reproduction: Video and mouse work; keyboard input is completely dead. Reproduced from macOS Windows App and freerdp2-x11 (Linux). Tested krdpserver started three ways: auto-start at session login, manual start ~15s into a fresh session, and restart into a long-settled session — keyboard is dead in all cases, so this is not a startup race. New data point that may help localize this: krfb (24.x, Debian package) sharing the same Wayland session, through the same xdg-desktop-portal-kde, has fully working keyboard input from VNC clients. So KWin's portal input injection works on this stack; the failure appears specific to KRdp's keyboard path (RDP scancode handling) rather than the portal/compositor input layer. Mouse works in both KRdp and krfb. Journal shows no errors from krdpserver at keypress time — input is silently dropped. This was closed WORKSFORME for lack of reproduction on 6.5+, which I can't test (Debian stable is fixed at 6.3.x), but the above is a clean, current reproduction on stock trixie, and the krfb-works/krdp-doesn't contrast on an identical session may narrow where to look. Happy to provide logs or test patches. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
