I've rebuilt Kwin with a small patch that supportedAsyncDrmFormats() even for the composited path and tearing is still not observed. I enabled DRM KMS logging and I can see messages like: [drm:intel_async_flip_check_uapi [i915]] [PLANE:64:plane 2A] async flip not supported So the driver is rejecting the async flips for some reason. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
