configures dark mode during initial setup
Classification: Plasma
Product: Plasma Setup
Version First unspecified
Reported In:
Platform: Fedora RPMs
OS: Linux
Status: REPORTED

Target Milestone: ---
DESCRIPTION
When installing Fedora KDE 44, if I select to enable dark mode during Plasma
Setup, the Fedora icon doesn't get set for the launcher. If I don't do
anything, then it gets set properly.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Download and install Fedora KDE Plasma Desktop Edition 44
2. During initial-setup, select to enable dark mode.
OBSERVED RESULT
Application launcher icon is the Plasma one instead of the Fedora one.
EXPECTED RESULT
Application launcher icon is the Fedora one instead of the Plasma one.
SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Operating System (available in the Info Center app, or by running `kinfo` in a
terminal window): Fedora Linux 44 (KDE Plasma Desktop Edition)
KDE Plasma Version: 6.6.4
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.25.0
Qt Version: 6.10.2
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Fedora sets the application launcher icon with a plasmoid setup script, but the
script doesn't seem to run if Plasma Setup configures dark mode. More details
are in the linked Red Hat bug.
