## SUMMARY
After locking the Plasma session and waiting for the monitors to power off, the
primary display becomes non-interactive on Virtual Desktop 2 after unlocking.
The display still renders normally and the mouse cursor moves over it, but
mouse interaction does not work. I cannot click windows or the desktop, and I
cannot drag-select on the desktop.
Virtual Desktop 1 continues to work normally on both displays.
Restarting `plasma-plasmashell.service` immediately fixes the problem.
## STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Use a Plasma Wayland session with two displays and at least two Virtual
Desktops.
2. Stay on Virtual Desktop 2.
3. Confirm that both displays are working normally.
4. Lock the session.
5. Wait until the monitors actually power off / go black.
6. Wake the monitors and unlock the session.
7. Try interacting with the primary/larger display while still on Virtual
Desktop 2.
## OBSERVED RESULT
On Virtual Desktop 2, the primary/larger display is visible but does not
respond to mouse interaction.
* The mouse cursor still moves normally.
* Windows and the Plasma desktop are rendered normally.
* Clicking does not work on the affected area.
* Drag-selection on the desktop does not work.
* Windows can still be reached using Alt+Tab.
* Virtual Desktop 1 works normally on both displays.
* Returning to Virtual Desktop 2 reproduces the non-interactive area.
Running:
```bash
systemctl --user restart plasma-plasmashell.service
```
immediately restores normal mouse interaction without logging out or restarting
KWin.
## IMPORTANT TRIGGER
The problem only occurs if the monitors actually power off while the session is
locked.
If I lock the session and unlock it quickly, before the monitors power off, the
issue does not occur.
## EXPECTED RESULT
After waking the monitors and unlocking the session, both displays should
remain fully interactive on every Virtual Desktop.

## ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
The issue is reproducible specifically on Virtual Desktop 2 after the displays
have entered power-saving mode while the session is locked.
Restarting only PlasmaShell fixes the issue:
```bash
systemctl --user restart plasma-plasmashell.service
```
Restarting plasma-plasmashell.service immediately restores full mouse
interaction on the affected desktop, without logging out or restarting KWin.
