Yes, “All Dates” can be misleading. However, since there is a separate “As of
today” mode, the current semantics are entirely consistent: “All Dates” refers
to all transaction dates, while “As of today” explicitly includes today.

An even better name for the current “All Dates” mode might be “Transaction
dates,” “All transaction dates,” or “Transaction period.” That would
immediately make it clear that today’s date is not automatically considered the
end point.
